KYOCERA Document Solutions UK has created a new brand advertising campaign featuring its own staff. The new images will feature across the UK & Ireland in the company’s marketing campaigns – part of an FY14/15 spend of £1million plus.

Rob Attryde, Head of Marketing at KYOCERA explains: “Extensive research showed that our traditional brand messages were losing traction and we were considering what could be a significant differentiator for our business in the UK. Research and feedback suggested that our people are the common denominator of our success over the last three years and as an authentic brand we decided to use our own people in our new brand images.”

Like all KYOCERA companies worldwide, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Limited follows a unique management philosophy, ‘Respect the Divine and Love People’, which aims to embed social and environmental responsibility into every aspect of the business.

Nigel Allen, Marketing Director, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd explains: “The central principle of our philosophy is simply to ‘do what is right as a human being’, a concept that KYOCERA includes in its decision making. The importance of fairness governs our conduct as a business. We obviously focus on motivating our employees to grow the business but we also try to keep an economic and social balance by protecting the environment and actively participating in our local communities. We also practice the ‘Customer-First’ Principle to ensure we deliver value and total customer satisfaction in price, quality, service and delivery.”

Attryde continues: “We asked for staff volunteers and set up a photoshoot in our Head Office earlier this year. These images will appear across our advertising (online, ooh, print), event stands, eDM, websites, PR and marketing collateral so that every element of our marketing communications will be telling the KYOCERA story. What’s great for the people involved is that their contribution to the company and its growth is recognised and will be highlighted in our marketing activity. I’m delighted that our new brand marketing campaigns highlight some of the people whose hard work has made KYOCERA such a success in the UK.”

KYOCERA employs 180 people across the UK and has technology suites in London and Manchester in addition to a Head Office in Reading. The company reported T/O of £78m in 2014 and its growth is predicted to continue.
