KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd launches A3 Black & White MFDs

TASKalfa 3501i, 4501i & 5501i

KYOCERA Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is launching three new Black and White MFDs, which extend the award-winning TASKalfa range. The new TASKalfa 3501i, 4501i and 5501i each offer a raft of new features designed for smarter document workflows which helps to maximise efficiency for small to large workgroups. Common technology across the range makes the devices easy to use, configure and integrate into existing fleets with HyPAS.

The new A3 35ppm to 55ppm TASKalfa MFPs deliver innovation by simplifying the complexity of today’s document workflows. The MFDs are perfectly designed to cater for those office environments with an average monthly print volume from 7,000 to 15,000 sheets across 10 to 30 users.

KYOCERA has incorporated broad media handling and finishing features to support flexible workgroups where reliability and productivity are vital. Custom paper sizes from the standard cassette make this range ideal for cross department sharing of devices and consequently help to reduce overall infrastructure costs. The 7,150 sheet paper capacity means productivity can go on and on, with up to 6 different media types available at the same time and banner printing supported up to 1220mm.

“These new A3 mono TASKalfa MFDs enhance our existing range and their flexible media choices help improve productivity by giving users real choice and the ability to print complex documents in the highest professional quality.” says Anup Rai, Product Marketing Manager, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd. “When combined with output speeds of 35 to 55ppm and an intuitive ‘drag and drop’ control panel commonly used in smartphones, these new TASKalfa’s ensure that busy offices run like clockwork while the reduced total costs of service deliver savings all round.”

The user-friendly colour touch panel means that all print, scan, copy and fax functions can be quickly accessed, which eradicates the need for lengthy training sessions. KYOCERA’s HyPAS software platform is easily integrated from the control panel ensuring the machine becomes a customised tool for any environment. An embedded OCR scan option allows easy conversion from scan to searchable PDF which improves usability; for example, making it simple to copy and paste text from the scanned document to PowerPoint and Word documents.

KYOCERA is known for long-life components so it’s no surprise that these TASKAlfa MFDs incorporate a 600,000 page drum. Installation time is now a mere 5 minutes and maintenance times are reduced further. Energy costs continue to rise in the UK, so the ‘up to 53%’ reduction in the TEC* value generates real savings while protecting the environment.

Rai continues, “These new TASKalfa products are a real testament to KYOCERA’s ongoing commitment to overall improvement; from speed, output quality, usability and new technology which improves energy efficiency. All this contributes to making organisations more agile and a lot more productive.“
